Thai Cookery Day

Come to Little Kitchen to learn how to make authentic tasting Thai food which you can easily recreate at home. Using easy to find ingredients, with adaptable recipes and plenty of tips, these will be recipes you’ll return to time and time again.
The menu: Mu ping (spicy pork skewers served with sticky rice) – Spiced corn fritters – Sweet chilli dipping sauce – Som tam (green papaya spicy salad) – Gaeng daeng (Thai red curry) – Slow cooked Thai chicken – White chocolate and coconut mousse
Level/ Suitable for: Beginners to intermediate. Perfect for those who are interested in Asian cuisine or are keen to develop their cookery skills/ expand their recipe repertoire.
Skills/ techniques/ content covered: Knife skills, vegetable preparation, pan frying, slow cooking, adapting recipes, serving suggestions, presentation ideas, dry roasting spices, flavour balance, making pastes.
Age suitability: 16 years upwards.
Suitable for: Meat eaters! Sorry not suitable for vegetarians. For any other special dietary requirements, please contact us before booking.
Workshop Length: 5 hours to include dining.
Workshop Frequency: 2-3 times per year.
What to bring: Feel Free to bring along a bottle of beer or wine to enjoy as you cook or eat! Packaging will be available, but feel free to bring along your own tupperware or containers.
All courses and workshops include tuition, ingredients, packaging and recipe cards as well as provision of equipment and an apron during the session.
Please contact us before booking on if you have any special dietary needs as we endeavor to adapt recipes for special diets, however, we are not always able to substitute ingredients.
