Teenage Holiday Cookery Club- Menu 3
20th February, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Held during the school holidays’ this workshop is perfect for older children and teenagers to learn essential cookery skills and gain confidence in the kitchen. This is also perfect for those who are thinking of studying or currently studying food subjects at GCSE, as well as those who want to kick start their skill section for their DofE Award.
Menu 1: Fresh egg pasta – Tomato and herb pasta sauce – Jaffa cakes
Menu 2: Meringue kisses- Pea and feta falafel – Tzatziki- Flatbread
Menu 3- Smoky fajitas with hand made wraps. Chocolate truffles.
Menu 4- Chinese dumplings with a ginger and chilli dipping sauce. Raspberry jam doughnuts.
Menu 5- Giant iced gems. Smokey Chorizo empanadas.
Age suitability: 12-16 years.
Suitable for: Most diets. For any special dietary requirements, please contact us before booking.
Tutor: Claire, Madeleine or Louise.
Workshop Length: 3 hours.
Workshop Frequency: 4-5 times per year.
What to bring: Just themselves! Feel free to bring along packaging, however this will be provided.
Please note: We strongly recommend that children wear covered, non-slip footwear for these workshops. A registration form will need to be completed for each child attending the workshop, please allow up to 5 minutes to complete this when dropping children off. Drop-offs for workshops is from ten minutes before the advertised start time. We are unfortunately unable to accommodate adults accompanying children on any of our child cookery workshops.
All courses and workshops include tuition, ingredients, packaging and recipe cards as well as provision of equipment and an apron during the session.
Please contact us before booking on if you have any special dietary needs as we endeavor to adapt recipes for special diets, however, we are not always able to substitute ingredients.
Bookings can be made up to 24 hours before the workshop commences (subject to availability of places).
