Seasonal Drip Cake Masterclass

Learn to make a funky seasonal drip cake. The most popular cake style of the year, with tips and guidance from our expert cake maker, Louise.
Level/ Suitable for: Beginners to intermediate. Those with an interest in cake/decorating/ baking/ patisserie.
Skills/ techniques/ content covered: You will learn to split, fill and crumb coat a deep sponge cake (freshly baked by us) Mask it with silky buttercream and perfect your smooth razor sharp edges. As well as accomplishing the all important glossy ‘drip’, we will also cover colouring effects of buttercream along with various piping skills. Each cake will be unique with freedom for your own ideas and creativity. The recipes for the cake, buttercream and ganache drip will all be provided, along with sweet treats and decorations to adorn the top.
Age suitability: 16 years upwards (or 14/ 15 years if accompanied by a full paying adult over the age of 18 years).

Workshop Length: 3 hours.
Workshop Frequency: 3-4 times/ year.
What to bring: Feel free to bring along your own tin or tupperware to take away your cake. Packaging will also be available.
