Mexican Street Food
6th February, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm
Cook up vibrant, fresh and delicious Mexican street food dishes, packed with flavour, sure to become favourites in your household!
The menu:Pulled chicken tacos- Frijoles refritos (refried beans) – Salsa Mexican (Tomato, coriander and lime salsa).
Level/ Suitable for: Beginners to intermediate. Those with an interest in Asian cuisine/ expanding their recipe repertoire.
Skills/ techniques/ content covered: Knife skills, vegetable preparation, adapting recipes, browning meat, serving suggestions, flavour balancing, making a dipping sauce, marinating meat.
Age suitability: 16 years upwards.
Suitable for: Meat eaters. The menu can be adapted for a vegetarian or vegan diet with notice. Please inform us at time of placing your order in ‘additional information’ if you would like the menu to be adapted for these. For any other special dietary requirements, please contact us before booking.
Tutor: Madeleine or Louise.
Workshop Length: 2 hours.
Workshop Frequency: Approx once a month.
What to bring: Just yourself! Feel free to bring along wine or beer to enjoy as you cook!
Please note: Dishes are cooked in pairs.
All courses and workshops include tuition, ingredients, packaging and recipe cards as well as provision of equipment and an apron during the session.
Please contact us before booking on if you have any special dietary needs as we endeavor to adapt recipes for special diets, however, we are not always able to substitute ingredients.
