Meat-Free Cookery

This class is perfect for anyone who is vegetarian or vegan, as well as anyone thinking of adapting their diet to cut down on meat and dairy.

The menus:

  • Menu 1- Mexican Quesadillas – Smokey sweet potato medley – Salsa de Mexicana/Guacamole.
  • Menu 2- Coconut curry – Tarka dal – Samosa.

Level/ Suitable for: Beginners to intermediate. Those with an interest in vegetarian or vegan cookery/ expanding their recipe repertoire.

Skills/ techniques/ content covered: Knife skills, vegetable preparation, adapting recipes, serving suggestions, cooking with spices, Indian/ Mexican cuisine.

Age suitability: 16 years upwards, or 14/ 15 years if accompanied by a full paying adult over the age of 18 years.

Suitable for: Vegetarian, Vegan, Dairy-free diet. Please inform us at time of placing your order in ‘additional information’ if you would like the menu to be adapted for any of these. For any other special dietary requirements, please contact us before booking.

Workshop Length: 2 hours.

Workshop Frequency: 1-2 times per month.
