Introduction to Sushi
Join us for our Introduction to Sushi to make and eat a delicious selection of fresh sushi, as you learn about the origins and history of it.
The menu: Cucumber & ginger pickle, Nigiri-zushi (hand formed), Maki-zushi (rolled sushi) – Norimaki, Uramaki (inside-out rolls) – California roll.
Level/Suitable for: Beginners to intermediate. Those with an interest in Japanese cuisine/ expanding their recipe repertoire.
Skills/techniques/content covered: Preparing and seasoning sushi rice, vegetable preparation, rolling and shaping techniques, dipping sauces and pickles, presentation and plating.
Age suitability: 16 years upwards.
Suitable for: A pescatarian diet. Can be adapted for a vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free or gluten free diet (please note this in additional comments when placing your order). For any other special dietary requirements, please contact us before booking.

Workshop Length: 2 hours, to include dining time.
Workshop Frequency: Once a month.

Please note: This is an introductory workshop and therefore does not cover working with raw fish.
