Join us for our Curry Express workshop and make a delicious Jalfrezi using your freshly blended spices and enjoy with simple fresh chapatis, learning the tips and tricks behind these Indian classics.
The menu: Free-range chicken Jalfrezi OR Paneer OR Vegetable Jalfrezi – Chapatis (Please advise in additional comments when making your booking, whether you would like the chicken, Paneer or vegetable option. Please note this is cooked in pairs)
Level/Suitable for: Beginners to intermediate. Those with an interest in Asian cuisine/ expanding their recipe repertoire.
Skills/techniques/content covered: Knife skills, making a spice mix from scratch, marinating meat, vegetable preparation, adapting recipes, browning meat, serving suggestions, shaping and frying chapatis
Age suitability:16 years upwards (or 14/15 if accommodated by a full paying adult over the age of 18 years old).
Suitable for: A dairy-free diet. For any other special dietary requirements, please contact us before booking.
Workshop Length: 1 hour 25 mins + 20 minutes dining.
Workshop Frequency: Once every couple of months.
What to bring: Just yourself! feel free to bring a bottle of beer or wine to enjoy as you cook and eat!
Please note: Dishes are cooked in pairs, tickets are sold per person. This is a dine-in workshop, although feel free to bring packaging if you wish to take it away. Inductions hobs will be used during this workshop.
