Children's Holiday Cookery Club
Our children’s cooking club runs over the school holidays and is great for your budding chef. Your child will have fun learning to cook new dishes from scratch, whilst improving their practical skills and independence in the kitchen.
The Italian Menu– Hand shaped Cavatelli with tomato and basil sauce- Amaretti biscuits
The Bread One- Cheese and chive soda bread – cinnamon sugar churros
The Cake One– Mini Victoria sandwiches – Chocolate and orange Madeleines
The Afternoon Tea One– Scones – mini strawberry tarts – jaffa cakes (served with a selection of simple finger sandwiches) *
The Spooky one- Oh Mummy! truffles – Spooky spider web cookies
The Christmas One– Christmas pudding truffles – Chessiest Cheese Straws
The Easter one– Scotch Egg Creme Eggs – Hot cross buns
Age suitability: 6- 11 years.
Suitable for: All suitable for vegetarians. For any other special dietary requirements, please contact us before booking. A supplement may be added for recipe adaptations.
Workshop Length: 2 hours.
Workshop Frequency: 1-4 times during each school holiday.
What to bring: Just themselves! Feel free to bring along packaging, however this will be provided.
Please note: We advise that children wear covered, non-slip footwear for these workshops. A registration form will need to be completed for each child attending the workshop, please allow up to 5 minutes to complete this when dropping children off. Drop-offs for workshops is from ten minutes before the advertised start time. We are unfortunately unable to accommodate adults accompanying children on any of our child cookery workshops. Induction hobs will be used during this workshop.
*Please note that the scones will be made from scratch individually, for the other items, the components will be provided and assembled by the children.
