The Tapas Social
We are bringing an essence of Spain to Bristol, in this fun-filled, relaxed cookery workshop. You will make a range of delicious tapas, perfect to enjoy with a few drinks.
The menu: Pancetta, parmesan and chive croquettas – Sautéed chorizo in red wine – Smokey cream cheese stuffed peppers. Vegan/Veg option: Mushroom croquettas – Sautéed vegan chorizo in red wine – Smokey vegan cream cheese stuffed peppers.
Level/ Suitable for: Beginners to intermediate. Perfect for those who are interested in expanding their recipe repertoire.
Skills/ techniques/ content covered: Knife skills, vegetable preparation, pan frying, adapting recipes, piping, serving suggestions, making a bechamel, presentation ideas, flavour balance.
Age suitability: 18 years upwards.
Suitable for: For the Vegan/vegetarian option, please specify at checkout. Unfortunately we are unable to adapt this for a gluten-free diet. For any other special dietary requirements, please contact us before booking.
Tutor: Hannah or Ceri.
Workshop Length: 2.5 hours to include dining.
Workshop Frequency: 2-3 times per month.
What to bring: Feel Free to bring along a bottle of beer or wine to enjoy as you cook or eat! Remember, what grows together goes together! Packaging will be available to take any left overs, but feel free to bring along your own tupperware or containers.
Please note: All dishes are cooked in pairs, tickets are sold per person. This is a dine-in workshop. Inductions hobs will be used during this workshop.
