Sri Lankan street food and a new Essentials cookery course…

To celebrate re-opening next Monday, we have launched some brand new cookery courses, being taught by our lovey new tutor Gabriella!

Gabriella has extensive experience in recipe writing, developing and testing as well as food styling. She previously worked creating recipes for Good Housekeeping Magazine and Hello Fresh. She trained at Leiths School of Food and Wine and has a wide range of knowledge covering a range of cuisines and cooking techniques.

She will be teaching an Essentials Cookery Course for beginners, and a Sri Lankan Street Food evening workshop, See further information below, and book your tickets today.

SRI LANKAN STREET FOOD:
Experience an explosion of flavours in our brand new Sri Lankan street food workshop. For anyone who loves trying something new, this class is a must! Full of fresh aromatics, spices and fragrant flavours.

THE MENU:
Sri Lankan chicken curry, coconut sambol, pickles and devilled paneer, all served with aromatic spiced rice. All chicken used is free-range from Ruby and White Butchers.

ESSENTIALS COOKERY COURSE:
This course is perfect for those new to the kitchen looking for a foundation of basic cookery skills or those just looking for new ideas for meal times. Running over 4 consecutive weeks, you’ll cook a new delicious meal each week, whilst learning new skills in each dish and sit down to enjoy your food together at the end of each session.

THE MENU:

Week 1: Roasted vegetable lasagne with dressed salad.

Week 2: Aromatic chicken curry with rice and quick pickle.

Week 3: Lamb kofta flatbreads with creamy hummus.

Week 4: Pan fried sea-bass with potato wedges and crushed peas.

All meat used is free-range locally sourced from Ruby and White Butchers.
